Ubuntu VM on Proxmox connected to LAN2 (pfsense), is getting IP from LAN DHCP

Hi guys,

New to Proxmox and need some help, please.
I have Proxmox Mini PC connected directly to a dedicated NIC on a pfsense (also Mini PC with 6 NICs).

Proxmox is running on LAN2 (192.168.5.0/24)
LAN is 192.168.1.0/24

I don't understand why the Ubuntu VM is getting IP from 192.168.1.0/24 instead of 192.168.5.0/24

Hi,

Are you sure that the VM NIC is correctly to the bridge corresponding to LAN2? Can you please provide us with the VM config and the network configuration on the Proxmox VE server?
