Hello,

I installed Proxmox 2 days ago. Everything was going well until today. I currently have a single Ubuntu Server VM hosting a game server. The problem is when it becomes UP (since today) I lose the connection to the Proxmox web interface and I can't do anything until I physically restart the server. When the VM is OFF, I don't have this problem. As soon as I open it. Within 5 minutes. I lose connection and have to physically restart the server.

What could be the cause? I don't understand, because this VM has been working fine for 2 days without problem and since today the problem occurs.

Thanks!

Is the server "dead", as in you connected keyboard and monitor to it and its completely non-responsive? Or is it just not accessible from network any more? If its the latter, then perhaps you have an IP conflict.

I found that it was an IP conflict. I put a static IP on the router for this particular VM. Will monitor for the next couple of days.

Thanks!
