Hi,
I'm migrating everywhere in my homelab from ESXi to Proxmox, 60 VMs successfully done so far.
However I have an issue with one of my most important VMs, my Nextcloud VM running on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
It was imported with the drive (4TB) set to SATA and runs well. But when I switch the Drive type to "SCSI" to use I/O-Thread, the Nextcloud VM ends up in GRUB rescue with the error message "attempt to read or write outside of disk hd0".
In the forums some are mentioning to switch the BIOS from UEFI, but here it even does not recognize the disk:
I already had migrated another Nextcloud VM with a smaller drive (2TB) without these problems.
Anyone any idea? Especially for my main Nextcloud I'd like to have the best I/O performance.
Greetings,
Marco
