I have two old Acer notebooks that I occasionally use for homelab.
Today I went to install Proxmox VE 8.2-1 from the ISO proxmox-ve_8.2-1.iso (SHA256 = d99d182a0df4ba94c27668d3e33d14cc286d775a7bdf571a86c24ea522009e93) and tried several times, on both notebooks, always with the same result: after installing without any apparent problem and the notebook restarts, it gets stuck showing only these lines on the screen:
Booting `Proxmox VE GNU/Linux'
Loading Linux 6.8.4-2-pve...
Loading initiak ramdisk...
Both notebooks have discrete Nvidia graphics cards.
I don't know what the problem is or how to solve it, but I believe it has something to do with Nvidia cards.
Note: I have used older versions of Proxmox on these notebooks without any problems, it seems to be a relatively recent problem.
