Hi everyone, I'm new to the Proxmox world but I can't understand the network part well, I have a server with two physical network cards:

-the first, the one on which I installed Proxmox, with 1 GB speed (interface enp2s0f0)

-The second in addition to 10GB where I would like to connect the VMs (interface enp4s0)

the two cards are physically connected to the same switch with network 192.168.1.0/24

Now I would like the 1 GB card (enp2s0f0) to be used only for managing the Proxmox node that responds to the address 192.168.1.10 and that has configured the gateway 192.168.1.1, and this works with the bridge created by dafult vmbr0
I tried to create a second bridge, with address 192.168. 1.20/24 associating it with the 10 GB card (enp4s0) but when I associate it with the VM it seems that the traffic always comes out of the vmbr0 bridge
where am I wrong?

You want to have a separate subnet for the second bridge, having the same subnet on two different interfaces is not recommended. Since you are using the same switch, you would also need to use two separate VLAN in order to separate the two networks on L2 as well.
