Trying to simply connect to the GUI

Using Cisco UCS B200 M4 and able to mount ISO and install Proxmox ok but then I try to connect to the Mgmt Gui I cant.
Logging on i do a Ip a
I see that enp6s0 is up and that vmbr0 is connected to it with the right IP.

I try to ping the gateway but cant and I try to ping anything on the same vlan but cant.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi @Phil Ryles , welcome to the forum.

PVE is based on Debian Linux. The underlying OS uses standard Linux TCP/IP stack. If you can't ping gateway, that is supposed to be L2 reachable, you have an issue in your network. Perhaps VLAN configuration is incorrect, perhaps the switch is not properly configured.
The basic network configuration in PVE looks fine.

The next step is network troubleshooting that is applicable to any network device: check switch, check ARPs, check tcpdump, etc.
