Trying to import VM for POC from esxi host

I have added one of my hosts and tried to import a vm. i get this error.

can't open '/run/pve/import/esxi/ifsvm7x01/mnt/ha-datacenter/Vol3/IFSITVM3/IFSITVM3.vmx' - No such file or directory (500)

How did you add the ESXi storage and what is the storage layout of the VM you are trying to import? Are there any snapshots on the ESXi host for the VM? What is the status of the storage (pvesm status --storage ifsvm7x01?
