trying to add backup - but cant use smb folder

Hi,
I have been using Proxmox for a few years and upgraded my 3 node cluster to 8.3
Now I want to use a SMB mount on my NAS as a backup for my VM's....
I can add the disk to the cluster and it shows across the system

But when I go and try add the backup it does not allow me to choose the disk .....
am I doing something wrong ?

What does it show in the 'Content' column when you look under Datacenter / Storage? You might need to enable 'VZDump backup file'.
