I am trying this over a week now.But not able to succeed.
I am migrating some of the physical servers to kvm proxmox.I followed the instructions mentioned on the wiki ,I am using the fsarchiver for doing this.
I did a archive of the server in 2 stages:
fsarchiver -v -A -z 9 savefs /var/archives/dbs1.fsa /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda5 /dev/sda6
fsarchiver -v -A -z 9 savefs /opt/archives/dbs2.fsa /dev/sda7
Both returned with no errors.Now I am trying to copy the archives to the VM booted via live cd.
root@10.16.49.115's password:
dbs1.fsa 100% 297MB 17.5MB/s 00:17
VM complains about no issues till now.
root@10.16.49.116's password:
dbs2.fsa 100% 937MB 30.2MB/s 00:31
scp: /dbs2.fsa: Read-only file system
On the VM I get
[root@livecd ~]# ls -la
-bash: /bin/ls: Input/output error
Here are the contents of /var to which /dev/sda7 is mounted ----2nd file which is having trouble to copy to destination

I also tried to zip the archived file created and then tried to scp,returns the same error.
Is there some parameter that needs to be passed during archiving the second file here?Is there anything wrong I am doing here?
