For some reason I don't understand, setting up TOTP will lock me out of the webGUI.
Here is what I did:
Yesterday I made a fresh Proxmox install.
I set a password for root during the install wizard.
I logged in into the webGUI.
Did some updates, network settings and other small settings.
Did not create a new user.
Setup TOTP.
Was unable to login.
SSH into proxmox, deleted /etc/pve/priv/tfa.cfg, reboot.
Was able to login again.
Went into the settings to setup TOTP. This time I took extra precautious.
Saved the user password into macOS keychain and KeePass.
Setup the TOTP with keychain and MS Authenticator.
Of course both show the same 6 digit code.
But I am again not able to login.
Checked date and time, everything looks good.
What am I missing?![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
