[SOLVED] Totally dismantle/disconnect a Cluster without killing the running VMs?

Hello,
Is there any way to totally dismantle/disconnect an entire cluster, aka all the nodes from each other, but make sure that - after reboot - all the VMs will start on each machine?

Hi,

yes, just remove the /etc/pve/corosync.conf and reboot.
All cluster members should be online, alternative you must do this on each node.
Also, turn off HA if enabled because this will fence your nodes.
After this, you can't rejoin to a cluster.
You have to clean yo before.

Related to the OP's original question, which services can be disabled when not using clustering? I realize letting the related clustering services run causes no harm, but nonetheless, which services can be disabled?

I'm guessing corosync.service, pve-ha-crm.service, and pve-ha-lrm.service?

Correct but if the corosync.conf is missing the corosync.servie will not start

Thank you! I disabled the three services. So far no noticeable problems.
