Hi,
we've been able to creat a rule and action that notifies the recipient about a quarantined spam.
Downside: the mail-content is not really suitable for endusers.

Would there be the posibility to send the regular daily spam-reports on a more frequent basis?
(like in the morning, evening and maybe inbetween)?

regards

The user can login and see quarantained mail any time. So it is not really necessary to produce more notifications.

Another strategy is to send all mails to the user, and just mark spam mails. So the user gets immediately notified.

Thanks for the quick response.
Regarding logging in anytime - please advise, we don't seem to be able to login for a destination mailbox that is sitting on another pop3-server.

And forwarding spam isn't the intended solution as there is a work-schedule in place for the users that goes like this: in the morning check for spams that might have been detected wrongfully, do the same after lunch and roughly half an hour before you go home.
In order to inform those users they have messages in their quarantine this would be a good thing to notify them if they have to do this task.
In fact the current appliance we are looking forward to replace do it this way, so we'd not have to educated everybody that things change now.

thanks again,
hk

Each spam report contain a link at the bottom:

"Please use the web interface to manage your spam quarantine."

The user can use this link to see all quarantined mails (any time).
