thin client with proxmox

What would be the best way to manage a thin client with proxmox? I would like to be able to run for example ubuntu desktop installed on one of the machines on my new MBP M1.
 
Well, from a PVE side you have VNC which most likely is not as nice. You could use SPICE, though the spice client for MacOS is a bit hard to get working. AFAIR you had to compile it yourself. When it comes to run some remote desktop software inside the VM, have a look at X2GO. But I don't know if they have clients for MacOS
