The server gets stuck during the boot phase, with the message: (chain on hard drive failed)

Hi there I have an OVH server that went down with hardware failure not hd's .
When the server attempted to come back online, after the maintenance was complete, it gets stuck during the boot phase, with the message: (chain on hard drive failed)

Has anyone come across this error and a fix?
I am on Proxmox ve 5

Any help or advice appreciated

Thanks for your mail.
I am no expert here, but on your occasion if it is a machine at home you might just have the Bios boot order set to use USB first and then your HD - so having a USB stick in might cause this in your case.
As my setup is a remote server I wonder if the technician left something plugged into my server..
