Bought my 1st server!
First thing I knew to do was to install platform virtualization software. Went to VMWare because there was a free version they offered. Luckily that ship had passed. Did some research and decided to go with Proxmox.
Proxmox is one of the simpliest products I've ever used. The documentation is very precise and still helpful. Not having an understanding of Linux was not a bar for me because of the clear instructions by both the developers and the Proxmox community.
