TASK ERROR: no such volume group 'pve'

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to Proxmox .. hoping someone can help.

I have 2 nodes running in a cluster with LVM and I'm trying add a 3rd which has ZFS Raid file system with the plan to migrate across to ZFS on the other nodes too.

Every time I try to create a container or a VM on the new node or try to migrate a vm from the other nodes to the new ZFS node I'm getting the following error;

TASK ERROR: no such volume group 'pve'

What have I missed, can anyone tell me please?

It turns out I hadn't configured the ZFS pool for the cluster and allocated it to the new node. So when trying to create or migrate a vm the cluster was expecting to use lvm on the new node instead of zfs.
