Can someone please help me with setting up my Proxmox home server, I am completely new to homelabbing and networking in general, I have tried to follow several guides and read several threads on the forum but I still cant setup Proxmox, I know its my severe skill issue but I really just hope I can set all this up. Ive installed PVE but when I try to connect to the web gui the webpage just says its taking too long to load.
Ive set the PVE to an IP that is, I believe, within the DHCP range of my router and one that is not occupied by other devices. The DNS and gateway IP I got from

ipconfig on my laptop that is connected through WiFi. I am trying to setup the PVE on my old PC which is connected to the internet through ethernet.Please, can someone help me please. Thanks so much.
