I'm using proxmox 2.3 and i have a VM (openvz) working so i decided to create another one (openvz) with a recent configuration (debian 7, apache 2.4 ...) so now i want to use the new one, i have multiple domains so i cant change the domains ip so i would like to know if switching VMs IPs will do the job ? and if yes how to do it safely?

Hi,
I personally did the same recently on Proxmox 3.4. It worked well.
On my side, I was using venet public IPs, so I simply switched off the old VM/CT, change its IP (or remove it), and add the IP (as venet) via the Proxmox WUI to the new host.
