swap size on server with 256gb ram

Hello everyone, I have a ProLiant DL380 Gen9 server with 256GB of RAM
Proxmox will be installed on a 500gb ssd

What size to set for swap?

You don't want to swap VMs but a little bit of swap for Proxmox (1 or 2GB?) and for your containers might be nice (but that depends on your containers).

What @leesteken said. In addition I would also install and active zram-tools for have a compressed swap before you actually swap to disk.
