Hi, trying to upgrade a guest VM from Server 2008 to Server 2012, but the CDROM in the hardware tab for the Guest VM doesn't show any ISO files, even though the node can see the ISO files. Should they be placed in a seperate directory? Or is there a special set of commands I should run to allow the Guest VM permission to 'see' the /etc/lib/vz/template/iso directory?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The image should be in /etc/lib/vz/template/iso/.
You have to set at the local-storage the correct content type "iso image".
And if your not root you need the permission to change the CDROM of the VM and access the storage 'local'.

Sorry /var/lib/vz/template/iso/
