Hi everyone!

I´m trying to passthrough a Broadcom LSI 9500-8i HBA and a Solarflare 10Gbit NIC to my TrueNAS Core VM. Both cards are in the PCIe 5 slots, but I have tried different slots as well with no success.

I disabled the kernel drivers in /etc/modprobe.d/pve-blacklist.conf :
softdep mpt3sas pre: vfio-pci
softdep sfc pre: vfio-pci

If only one of the PCIe cards is passed through, it seems to work, but I need both.

As soon as I start the VM I get the following console output:

  • Proxmox 8.2.4
  • SuperMicro X13SAE-F - latest BIOS
  • Intel i5-13600K
  • Broadcom LSI 9500-8i HBA - latest FW P31
  • Solarflare SFC9120 S7120 Dual 10Gbit NIC
Thanks for your help!

I just did a clean install of PVE on a Gigabyte Z790 UD MoBo, i7-13700k and added both cards to the same TrueNAS Core VM - no problem, just booted fine!
