Subscription key activate problem

Hello everyone, we've just purchased a PVE subscription. I have received the license key, but after entering it, the following error appears:


I don’t quite understand what this error means. Could it be related to the network connectivity of my PVE host?

Can your node connect to the internet?
To activate a subscription the node needs a internet connection to phone home to proxmox and validate the license key.

AFAIK, you can use a free support ticket for help with subscription keys. But it does help to make sure there is a stable internet connection. Although there are might also ways to activate offline or via a proxy, if your system is not connected to the internet.

It’s possible that our firewall is blocking it. I’ll look into how to apply for an offline activation license.

Then it might be easier to stop the firewall from blocking. If you cannot reach the internet and cannot get updates then you might want to setup a Proxmox Offline Mirror: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-offline-mirror-released.115219/
