Hello to all,
we are unfamiliar with using the forum and with Proxmox installation, inherited the system. Love to learn about.
Our server stopped working with local storage 100%. Removed the snapshots turned to 99.8%. The system running is 3.4 - 6/102d4547. Got a backup copy on an nfs qnap and a new server. We installed with the newest Proxmox intallation cd to the new system 4.3-1/e7cdc 165.
Put backup from qnap on to usb disk. Connected the usb disk to the new Proxmox server and restored the virtual server. Worked well. Try to start it, failed with: command '/usr/bin/kvm -id 101 -chardev 'socket,id=qmp,path=/var/run/qemu-server/101.qmp,server,nowait' -mon 'chadev=qmp...
Searching, found a HOWTO file 'Upgrade_from_3.x_to_4.0&..'
Here was the second procedure the same procedure except the recovery and restore of the /etc/ files. Since we have restored the virtual machines first, is it still useful to change the /etc/ files or do we have to do the two day restore again?
How can I copy out of the task history the whole error message?
Any good help is appreciated strongly.
Thanks in advance
Walter and Arne
