Hi everyone! My current setup is on a desktop pc in a mid tower case. So I want to utilize all the ports on the motherboard. The current set up is 1 1tb nvme as the boot drive and I have 2 hdd in a mirrored array for truenas (i have them as a pass through). Can I add another nvme to mirror the boot drive. I would also like to add two ssds to create a mirrored storage pool for the proxmox environment. The space is limited as well as my budget lol. Would this setup work? If so what would be the pros and cons? I can also wipe everything and start from scratch if needed. I’m new to home labs but i’ve been having so much fun learning! Thanks in advanced!

If you want to run a mirrored root/boot environment, BACKUP EVERYTHING and reinstall to ZFS mirror.
