State blocked by non-migratable device AHCI

Hello,

I have recently built a 4 node proxmox cluster, running the latest version:

pve-manager/2.3/7946f1f1

I migrated all my machines from another cluster that was having issues. On the old cluster, using the exact same configs and disks (using glusterfs for image store) I was able to do live migrations of my hosts. For some reason now, I can't live migrate any of my hosts and I get the following error:

Apr 11 10:23:42 ERROR: online migrate failure - VM 104 qmp command 'migrate' failed - State blocked by non-migratable device '0000:00:07.0/ich9_ahci'

I searched around and found some other people talking about it in 2012, but haven't found a resolution.

Any ideas?

qemu developers marked SATA disks as not migratable, because there are still some bugs in the code.

I've just found it in 3.2 .. Got

Is it safe to change driver type (from sata to virtio) in the xxxx.conf file ? It is a linux VM .
