Standalone Server for ProxMox VE

Greetings

I am interested in buying a server for the ProxMox VE and I am also new to the PVE software. What server configuration for the Proxmox VE would be most approximate to invest. I trying to keep the cost below $3,000. The standalone server would be have approximately 50 users and would be setup inside my home network for user from outside to connect and complete tasks.

Please provide feed.

That is too general. We need more information about what those users do and what the requirements are like how much disk space do they need, how much ram, what guests would run, should the machine be silent or can it be as loud as neccessary ...
