we're running a 8 node cluster with the following configuration:
2 sites + on each site 4 nodes with always two nodes are configured as drbd. So we end up with 4 drbd groups.
Last week we were facing a problem where one site failed and the other site lost quorum and stopped all services. Besides this issue leads back to a mistake we made at design time we are now trying to seperate these two sites entirely so that each site has its own cluster (4 nodes = 2 drbd groups). So when one site fails the other site wont get effected.
I couldn't find any information about how to split a cluster while preserving the machines and the drbd groups. Can somebody give me an explanation about how i can perform this task?
