Hello,
I've set up a cluster with three nodes only connected with IPv6 between them.
I had several issues at the beginning to connect them, but at the end, by modifying the host file it ended up working.
I still have one issue left, the Spice console works only on VMs on the host I'm connected from.
My problem is exactly the same as the one explained here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/spice-proxy-issues-between-cluster-nodes.47037/
I've searched around the forum and found another similar issue here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/s...only-on-one-node-xterm-js-only-on-ipv4.52662/
my three nodes are running the same PVE Manager version (pve-manager/6.3-3/eee5f901) directly installed from the Official Proxmox ISO file.
Here is the host file on my ndoes:
I had to do that so the web interface works with ipv6 and allow nodes to connect to each others
::ffff:<ip4 addreess of node 1> pm1.tld pm1
I modified those lines after reading https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/s...only-on-one-node-xterm-js-only-on-ipv4.52662/
::ffff:127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback localhost
and when I'm connected to pm3 and trying to spice a vm hosted on pm2, I can see this error in the syslog of pm3
When I go to Datacenter > node > system. All services are running
if I connect to the web interface using IPv6 on a node and launch a spice for a VM hosted on the connected node, it works.
I've no firewalls (yet) configured on any of the three nodes. All ports are open.
Has someone already faced this issue or have an idea how I can solve it ?
Thanks
