I have a Fujitsu Primergy TX2560 M2 server at my business that I want to make optimal use for Proxmox VE, Proxmox Backup Server and Proxmox Mail Gateway.
I want to use this server for various required virtual servers (domain controllers, file servers, DHCP servers, security servers, DNS servers, etc.) that are virtually connected to each other and have Windows Server 2022 as the operating system.
I want to use this server for nine various required virtual servers (domain controllers (2x), file server, DHCP server, security server, DNS server, etc.) that are virtually connected to each other and have Windows Server 2022 as the operating system.
This means :
Essential servers:
1. Domain Controller 1 (DC1) – Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS)
2. Domain Controller 2 (DC2, redundancy) – Windows Server (Replica AD, DNS)
3. DHCP server – Windows Server (Can possibly be combined with a DC)
4. File Server – Windows Server (Files, shares, access via SMB)
5. Security Server – Windows Server (Antivirus, monitoring, logging)
6. Firewall/Proxy Server – Linux or Windows (pfSense, Sophos, or Windows Defender ATP)
Optional servers:
7. Web Server (IIS or Apache/nginx for internal use)
8. Remote Desktop Services (RDS) Server if I need remote access
9. SQL Server if I use databases
I would like to know what specifications I would need to upgrade to make this work smoothly?
