Spam level not changing via web i/f

When changing the spam score from 5 to 3, clicking save, the new value for "spam filter" is reflected in the web i/f, however not reflected in the in mail.log.
ie: SA score=11/5
Using mailGW2.0 iso, 2gb ram, p4, standard version

That behaviour is expected (because you can have several spam filter objects in the rule system, each with another spam level, but spam analysis is only run once). What is the problem with that?
