Hello,

I would like to setup to two PVE nodes with ISCSI storage. May i know it is support the HA and VM thin provisioning?
it is any best suggestion/practice for two nodes design. Thank you.

Hi @parker0909
Yes, you can use iSCSI storage in a cluster of two nodes (and a quorum vote, hopefully).
Yes, you can achieve HA with shared iSCSI, whether direct or via LVM.
No, you will not have thin provisioning, except that which is done inside your storage appliance internally.

iSCSI can be used as "Direct" when you pass a raw LUN directly to VM, or you can use LVM to slice and dice the LUN/s. However, only Thick LVM is safe for shared/concurrent access. You will not get Thin Provisioning or Snapshots with it.

Hope it helps
