Hello,

today I wanted to install proxmox 9.1 on a new harddisk. Proxmox 9.1 and the earlier versions always froze at " waiting for /dev to be polutated". Adding nomodeset t the kernel boot options made no difference.

Cause of this behavior: the "new" disk was previously used and had two partitions, one with windows and one with debian. Erasing the disk in my osx device did not remove the efi entries on the disk. When I used the commandline diskutil tool, I could completely remove the residual files on the disk.

Now, it boots the proxmox installer
