[SOLVED]: Pre-fill "Add to list" dialogs with email-address from spam-report

I got the feedback from many users that they find the "Add to Welcome list" workflow very non-intuitive, and not what one would expect how it works.

As every line in the daily spam-report-email has it's own "Welcomelist" "Blocklist" "Deliver" and "Delete"-links, one would expect that the corresponding item would be handed over to the web-ui, so that the dialogs open up themself and are pre-filled.

Why are there different links for "Welcomelist" and "Blocklist" if both point to exactly the same page and do not even open the respective dialog? This does not make sense.

In case of adding to Welcome- or Blocklist things are worse, as the web-ui does not allow to copy&paste the email-addresses and the user has to go back to the spam-report-email and manually extract the email-address from the "mailto:"-links.

IMHO a really huge improve in UX would be if things like the email-addresses are integrated in the links and that dialogs like adding to the lists are already filled with the addresses, so that the user only needs to click the "Add" button in the dialog.

clicking on the welcome-/blocklist links should add the address to the user's respective list - please check by clicking the link and then checking the respective list. - It shows a small modal at the bottom-right of the page that the action was successful.

I hope this helps!

Hi @Stoiko Ivanov ,
thanks for your reply.

That does not work here, currently for no-one as it seems. Are there any special requirements for network/browser/etc. for this to work? Thanks!

Okay, looks like I got this solved. Seems like the firewall's WAF had interfered here. Strange that the page opened normally but just the add action was ate... However, I will collect some feedback from users to see if it is solved for them, too.
