[solved] chunks deleted manually, now backups fail

Hi,

I deleted all files on my backup disk accidently (no big deal in my setup) and now I can not backup any of my machines anymore.

PBS is telling me that it does not find chunks. Could please anyone advice me how to re-init the store (or delete information of all chunks in this particular store?)?

what is the exact error message? can you post such a task log?

if you only deleted files, you'd just have to 'verify' the snapshots and remove all that are failed (those with missing chunks)
otherwise it should simply work?

Unfortunately I also deleted the backups in the web gui, so I can not verify the backups anymore...

how many directories exits in the '.chunks' folder in the datastore?
did you also delete some dirs there? (pbs assumes these are precreated)

ahm. yes. all of the folders on the backup disk are gone...

ok, if the whole datastore is gone, i'd just remove it from the config recreate it
edit: the config is /etc/proxmox-backup/datatstore.cfg
