Solution: Intel iGPU passthrough to Linux VM but failed with Kernel 6.10 onward

This is just to share, if you are using intel iGPU passthrough to a Linux VM, you might encounter a problem that no HDMI output if you upgrade your Linux VM to kernel 6.10 onward.

i have Alderlake iGPU passthrough to Linux VM with working HDMI output correctly using Kernel 6.11-rc5 now.

I'm experiencing the same issue after updating Fedora from kernel 6.8 to 6.10. I'm getting a black screen after boot.

Have you found a solution to this? I tried following the GitLab thread, but I'm wasn't sure exactly what to do.

Should I lock the kernel version to 6.8 until 6.11 is released? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

in summary, just get the i915_vbt from host (before passthrough activated)
copy it the VM guest, and load it from there. ready through my post in gitlab then you should know how to do.
