SMTP stopped, can't start or restart ? WHY

Hello
I am still trying to get proxmox to run together whit groupwise.
But when I am looking at proxmox webpage (the gateway) I can see the folowing under "Server administration":

"SMTP stopped Simple Mail Tranfer Protocol"

when I try to restart service I still get "SMTP stopped"

When I try just to start I still get "SMTP stopped"

All other services is working when I press stop/start.
So why is my SMTP service stop working ?!?!?!?

Please help.

If you have a problem, we or another user can only help you, if you write...
WHAT do you want?
WHICH Mail Gateway Version do you use?
WHAT system or network configuration do you have?
WHICH Hardware do you run?
WHAT result do you get? (error message, system behavior, ...)
in your posting.

Sorry.
I try one more time whit more details.

Mail Gateway ver. is 1.3 (Free version)

System is a HP E200 Server whit HP hardware-raid 1, and one 100Mbit ethernet interface.

What result i get, i think I have explained this in the first part.
If not please write back.

Hope this is enough to tell me why SMTP service can't start.

HP E200 is not enough! Which CPU and how much RAM do you have?
Which error messages are in your system logs?
