Hi, we are in the phase of planning / evaluating of PBS in our environment for backing up Proxmox hosts. the designated new machine has lots of backup space available - currently a lot more than usable as backup target for the proxmox servers. As we currently still have Hyper-V based legacy backup software that uses a smb share as target I thought about not wasting ressources and about shutting down an old windows smb server and use the new server better.
Is it possible to "share" the underlying storage via SMB to this legacy application together with the primary use as backing up proxmox host with the PBS?
Thanks for any help.
Regards
