Smart Unkown status

I was trying Proxmox backup server on one of my servers, when I wanted to see the status of the unkown hard disk in SMART
how can I see it?

Proxmox cannot recognized disks "behind" hardware raid. If you need check smart status on disks with HW RAID, you sould login to shell and check manually via smartctl.

no raid in server
i only have 2 hardisk 1tb

I have to turn off raid in the dell bios, right?

yes switch to ahci, then you are able to create a mirror with zfs by installing proxmox.
but: if you now disable raid in bios all data will get lost i think
