Hi,
We recently upgraded a couple of our servers running Proxmox v5 to v6.
To do this we made a backup of every vm on the host, reinstalled the host in v6 and restored all the vms.
But what we noticed is that the restoration took much longer than expected.
After this we decided to compare the restoration time between v5 and v6 on the same host with the same configuration and the same backup.
The time difference is significant :
We are using local storage with SSDs with an hardware RAID 1, no LVM Thin and qcow2 images.
Has anyone noticed this as well ? Do you have any idea how to improve the restoration speeds on v6 ?
