I installed samba server on a debian squeeze container. Transfer speeds to and from the host are less then 4mb/s over a wired 100mb network. When i check the connection with iperf i get speeds from 10-12mb/s, which I guess are normal on this network.
Then i installed samba on the host computer, with the same results. Any ideas how to improve performance?
