Hello,
I used ProxMox v1.6 in the past, but now I am on 1.9 and I am confused about network configuration. Has something changed in the network model between the versions?
Here is my problem:
I installed a fresh ProMox v1.9 distribution (OVH hosting), and I want the simple following setting (for a start):
- one single IP address (public),
- one KVM Debian guest, with outbond access to the Internet, and using, I suppose, a local IP address on a local private network with host (as far as I know this is what we call NAT, but I'm starting to be confused)
- SSH access from host to guest
I would like, of course, to define some port forwardings later on, but now at least this simple settings does not work.
Could someone please give me a clue and/or the network/interface file to use?
I read the ProxMox Networking Model in the Wiki, but this does not help me understand my problem.
I've been stuck for days, with a headache.
Thank you very much!
