Short-term unavailability during backup

Good day everyone!
I use Proxmox VE 8.2.2 and PBS 3proxmox copies the virtual machine on which the web servers are located where the web application is running, at the time of the start of backup, the web applications become unavailable (from about a minute to three). The backup method I use is snapshot, the zfs file system. Is this normal behavior and is it possible to avoid even short-term unavailability?

Hi,
certain settings in the Advanced tab when editing the backup job might help:

If you have high IO wait during backup, you might want to try reducing the I/O Workers setting. This helped other users, e.g. https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/high-io-wait-during-backups-after-upgrading-to-proxmox-7.113790/

If you have network saturation, you might want to set a bandwidth limit.
