Hey guys,
Ive seen this posted before on the forum but I thought I'd bring it back to life. I've noticed that OCFS2 support is not present in the new kernel (Proxmox VE 2.0) and it's bothering me. I've build a cluster of Proxmox machines that all share a number of fibre channel storage arrays. My current configuration has no single point of failure, is incredibly fast, and 4gbps fiber channel is faster than GigE (10GbE is out of the question atm).
I'd like to upgrade to PVE 2.0 but this set back is slowing us down and I don't like the idea of rolling out an iSCSI server just for Proxmox. By sharing storage it also allows for faster migration from server to server.
How can I get OCFS2 running on PVE 2.0, I am not in a position where I can afford this work to be completed but can someone set me off in the right direction? Would I have to rebuild the Kernel, if so - how would I go about doing this?
Cheers,
Alex
