Hello everyone,
I was wondering if it is possible to configure a shared cluster IP on a setup of 3 proxmox nodes for management IP redundancy?
I have 3 nodes:
node 1 - 10.255.255.1/24
node 2 - 10.255.255.2/24
node 3 - 10.255.255.3/24
I am wondering if it is possible to setup a shared cluster IP (for example, 10.255.255.4) like in hyper-v so that all nodes listen on that IP and if the master node goes down the one that takes over would be able to listen on that IP and connectivity to the management IP wouldn't be lost. I would also be able to point a DNS record to 10.255.255.4 calling it "pve.domain.local".
I am currently using Hyper-V and was wondering if this features exists in proxmox so that I can transition to it.
Thank you in advance!
