Hi Everyone.
I am having a machine running Debian, and it has already a running zpool (only personal stuff, the system does not run from that pool).
I am considering turning this into a PVE by following the official install-on-debian guide, but I am not sure if that would hurt the existing zpool.

Do I need to:
  1. Export the existing pool before installing proxmox, then import it back again when done, copying and restoring the zfs directory ( /etc/zfs/ ) to some place safe in between?
  2. Before installing proxmox, should I remove the debian zfsutils depending on what comes already bundled in the proxmox environment?
Thank you
