sesutil equivalent for Debian?

Hi,

I have been using TrueNAS CORE (freebsd) for a bit and it has a utility called sesutil that I used to light up the drives LED indicator (I use Dell/HP servers and their tray works with that utility). The command is:

sesutil locate /dev/da3 (for example).

Is there an equivalent utility for Proxmox or Debian in general? Alternatively, I know how to use DD for write to a drive, but is there a non-destructive way to simply "read" stuff from a specific individual drive (that belongs to a zfs pool) for long enough to identify which led is lighting up during that drive read?
