Server hung and would not respond

Has anyone experienced something similar, so as to prevent it from reoccurring. I rebooted the server, and everything started as normal.

Check your storage. At least: /dev/sdb might have a problem...

i looked at dev/sdb on the backup server and it is empty, if that is what you mean. Please advise

The error in the picture suggests that /dev/sdb is throwing errors. Best to replace it.

Just so i am clear, replace what exactly....are you saying the whole server, or the hard drives or?

/dev/sdb is the identifier for a hard drive.
