Hello everyone,
recently I had trouble with my server "crashing" 1-2 times a week, upon which I tried fixing it myself.
I found out my NUC is using a r8168 Realtek network card, which for some reason Linux is using the kernel headers and drivers of the r8169 for.
So I thought it was an easy fix and installed the r8168 module and everything.
Here is the output of lspci -v:
So it certainly looks like that worked out.
After that everything worked out fine for around 3 days and then it started becoming unresponsive again, this time around 1 time a day until I reboot it.
This has been going on for around 1 month now (I know I'm lazy lol) and now I want to try to fix it for good.
I just want to know if there are things I can do on the software side of things or if I should be looking to buy and install a new network card?
I attached the logs for the first time it became unresponsive, these are still the same to this day.
If there is any more information you need, feel free to ask for it.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Regards
