I am running v1.8 of Proxmox with several KVM and OpenVZ containers. In one KVM I have a windows XP client which uses a USB to Serial Connector. I have used this successfully to log data from my Solar System on my roof with Proxmox and XP.
My issue is when i power off my Host and repower it on the com port which appears in Windows XP can be either Com Port 3 or Com Port 4. The device is always detected in the KVM but causes issues with my software running on the XP client as its not always on the same port each time. I would like to fix the Com Port used by the KVM client. How can i do that via the conf file for the VIM?
Here is my current Conf file for the XP VIM

Here is the output from lsusb from the host.

The Device number for the Prolific Technology Serial Port seems to change on reboot of the hosts sometimes as well. I am not unplugging the device at all.
