I am very new to Proxmox and also to making bootable USB's. I wanted to install Proxmox and just do some stuff with it until my school begins after the holidays. Because I will be getting lectured in, amongst other stuff, Proxmox. I just want to get a feeling before we really begin.
So I have mounted an ISO as a dd on a USB drive that has a size of 2GB. I have used rufus to do so. But now when I boot up my other system (where I want to install Proxmox), I press F12 and select in the BIOS that I want to boot from USB I get an error stating "GRUB Read Error. Selected boot device not available."
Does anyone know if I did something wrong? I know I am not very descriptive here but this is all I have done here so there isn't much to describe to be honest. I hope someone here can help me out.

EDIT: forgot to mention that I am mounting from a windows 10 machine.
